Gatsby Night
Step through the doors of Langan’s Brasserie right by Hyde Park, and suddenly you are sipping champagne in the Roaring Twenties
The venue was already dressed to impress in its burgundy-and-gold finery, with a terrace practically winking and begging for a bit of 1920s mischief. Add in champagne towers, a casino corner, and a dash of Art Deco flair, and suddenly you’re living in the pages of The Great Gatsby.
From the moment guests arrived, the scene was set. Two vintage 1920s cars gleamed outside, while a crowd of flapper girls and dapper gents welcomed everyone in style - cue the first photos of the night. And for those who hadn’t quite nailed the dress code? No worries - pearls, feathers, and sparkling headbands were on hand to transform every guest into part of the Jazz Age crowd.
As the evening unfolded, so did the surprises. A champagne tower overflowed with bubbles, a pop-up stage brought live jazz and tap dancers into the spotlight, and the casino tables gave a cheeky nod to prohibition-era fun. The room buzzed with laughter, music, and clinking glasses, while the live band and DJ kept the party swinging well past midnight.
The magic of Langan’s Brasserie is how effortlessly it transforms. It’s a dream backdrop for a Gatsby, 1920s, or speakeasy party - and this night proved it. Glamorous, playful, and just a little bit wild, it was the kind of party even Gatsby himself would’ve crashed.
