Pokemon go garden party

When your child is a big fan of Pokémon Go game, there are no questions what the theme of your next party will be. Our goal was to recreate the fun elements of the game and build a dream outdoor party setting for the birthday boy at the client's house in West London.

Solution:

As with any outdoor event, the most essential thing is to weather proof the area, especially when we are talking about autumn in London. For that event, we set a massive stretch tent with raised flooring and festoon lights – a perfect place both for children and adults alike.

Next up, adding a pop of colour to our party scene. We create a stunning sweets display with a bespoke backdrops, a neon sign, and colourful balloons; a photozone with LED number 9 and balloon wall, and of course, balloon craze all over the yard with big personalized bunches, giant balloon table centres, and suspended orbz and giants under the ceiling. We followed bright and simple Pokémon colour palette of yellow, red and black, adding a touch of gold and white to make it pop out.

Pikachu mascot arrived just in time to pose for a couple of pictures with the birthday boy and meet & greet all the guests. He directed them straight to the snack zone with frozen yoghurt and freshly-made popcorn being served. To get the guests ready for the party, we hired a duo of face painters to get Pokemon-themed face and body paints to everyone.

Our experienced entertainers took the lead with a range of themed activities. The highlight of the party was the Pokemon Go themed quest where children were challenged to catch pokemons and become good trainers to meet each other at the Pokemon arena for the grand finale. We wrapped party up with the cake moment and mini-disco, ensuring our professional photo- and videographers captured every moment for the family archive.
