Gracious Heart Charity Gala

The Gracious Heart charity foundation briefed Chaika to arrange a gala dinner and auction to raise funds for children with cerebral palsy. The foundation partnered with both acclaimed professional artists and rising stars, to work with children with cerebral palsy. This international team of artists from Russia, Great Britain, USA, Italy and France helped their young co-creators to express themselves and put their hearts and souls into their artistic activities.

Solution:

Chaika's team developed the event's design concept and organised the entertainment programme during the drinks reception and gala dinner. We invited notable BBC presenter and journalist Joanna Gosling to be the host and pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor as the key performer on the night. The paintings went under the hammer during the gala dinner organised at Christie's, the iconic auction house, and supported by the world-famous auctioneer, Simon de Pury.

The event was a sample of the incredible collaboration between the Gracious Heart Foundation, artists, children, the auctioneer and Chaika's team, resulting in £330,000 being raised on the night during the auction, silent auction and from private donations.
